About Caralee Australian Labradoodles

Caralee puppies are brought up in a home environment in west Brisbane, where they are not just a business, but are genuinely loved and cared for from birth until they go to their forever homes.  Every care is taken so they go to their forever homes as healthy, happy puppies that have been well socialised with all age groups of humans as well as older dogs.

Parents

Caralee Mums and Dads are carefully selected for their temperament and genetic strengths.

All parents are DNA tested for a wide range of diseases and are hip scored using the PennHip method as well as at least one other method for hips and elbows.

Caralee Mums and Dads live in family homes in Brisbane or South East Queensland. They are brought up as important treasured members of the family.  They are not kept in cages where their only purpose is to reproduce.

Health

Caralee puppies are carefully scrutinised as they grow and develop so any health issues are addressed immediately.

All puppies are wormed every 2 weeks from birth.

They receive a thorough vet health check at 6 weeks of age.

New puppy owners have the choice of having their puppy desexed before it goes to its furever home or purchasing the puppy on a desexing agreement where puppy is desexed at a later stage.

All Caralee pet puppies go to their furever homes with a 2 year genetic health guarantee.

History

The history of the breed dates back the 1980’s where there were some litters of Poodles x Labradors bred for the Guide dog association to try to develop a breed that did not cause sensitivity to people with allergies.

The development of the labradoodle continued with infusions of other breeds and what evolved was the labradoodle as we see it today.
